A Diwali pooja is worship to the Deities of the Hindu Religion in the form of prayer, offerings and sacrifices. In this context, the Lakshmi pooja is the most important ritual performed during Dipawali.According to the belief, Lakshmi is the goddess of wealth & prosperity and Lakshmi Pooja on Diwali day is considered the best way of pleasing her. Lakshmi Pooja falls on the dark night of Amavasya. On this particular day sun enters its second course and passesby Libra, which is represented by the sign of balance.
