Durga Sapta Shati Pathh:

Navaratri is celebrated two times a year. They are Sharada Navaratri, the Vasantha Navaratri. Of these, the Sharada Navaratri of the month of Puratashi and the Vasantha Navaratri of the Vasantha kala are very important. If you refer to the Agni purana, then it is said that the Puratashi and Panguni i.e. Ashwin and Chaitra are like the two jaws of Lord Yama. Shri Durga Saptashati, the married life becomes quite peaceful and happy. There is togetherness between husband and wife because the magnetism for attracting each other goes up substantially. The couple begins to look upon each other with a deep sense of respect. This ritual/ceremony involves 9 days during which the Pooja/Path of Shri Durga Saptashati is conducted, including ten percent Havan (offerings to the fire god).
