Solar eclipse 2011: an evidential incidence
Surya Grahan 2011
Solar eclipse is a natural occurrence. It occurs when the moon takes it position between earth and the sun in a straight line. During the solar eclipse the moon passes over the surface of the earth. As we live on earth we will be able to see the moon passing over the surface of the earth during the solar eclipse 2011. This phenomenon only occurs during the new Moon phase as the Moon and the Sun are in conjunction and can be noticed from the Earth. This is the actual procedure how the solar eclipse takes place.
How does solar eclipse occur?
It is the coincidence that the sun’s diameter is about 300 times more than that of moon. At the same time, it is 300 times far away from the sun. if we try to look through the filter towards the sun, it would exactly look the same as moon on a full moon night. When moon passes in front of the sun, the shadow of the moon falls on the earth. The shadow exactly appears to cover the disc of the sun. This shows that solar eclipse is a phenomenon of shadow.
Every Body do Grahan Dosh Nivanran Puja on this Day for protections against Bad effects.
Types of the solar eclipse
There are three kinds of solar eclipses. The three solar eclipses are annual solar eclipse, partial solar eclipse and total solar eclipse. The total solar eclipse occurs when the umbra of moon’s shadow passes over the region of the surface of the earth. The annual solar eclipses occur when the region of the surface of earth is in the line with the umbra. The distances are very large therefore the umbra is not able to make up to the surface of the earth.
